The temperature was 13 degree when they reached Hong Kong. Obviously hubby was very excited over the weather, being a person who is not so afraid of cold because of his fats.

The rest of the Ongies were covered well from the cold wind. The only person who walked around without the windbreaker and the bermuda - hubby.

As technology grows, it is hard to have a phone without a data plan sim card, even though you are overseas. Subscribing to your local telcom for data roaming will cost you approximately $15 per day. It is quite a sum of money if you are staying for more than 3 days.

All thanks to Google search, wifey found some relevant information; their own group of friends also recommended this telco in HK. - 1O1O

When you disembark from the plane, proceed to check out as usual. Before heading out of airport, do remember to go one level up, and proceed to F column (as seen from the image). That's where you can get the data sim card from. The friendly customer service officer will help you to activate the sim card using your phone.

After activation, hubby took out the sim card from his phone and used it on the mobile router. At least both hubby and wifey will be able to use them. Do remember to bring a long a mobile battery charger as well. This is the most important necessity for most guys.

Seeing the mountain all over is a beautiful scenery, mom and dad (the kids grand parents) really love seeing them.

Airport transfer to Hotel Benito is HKD900. This include to and fro.

The friendly driver is quite punctual and the vehicle he drove is a Toyota Alphard. So there's no need to worry whether the car is going to be a small type. It is spacious enough to fit the people and the luggage in. The kids enjoyed the journey from the airport to hotel.

All thanks to Google Map street view, they are able to locate where the hotel is located at. They also did some checking around the street and found a lot of food shops. There's no need to worry about being hungry there.

They had reached the hotel quite early around 10am; glad that they were able to check in! A good rest before heading out for food hunting.

The initial plan was to head up to Sham Shui Po for dim sum session, but because everyone was very hungry, they have to forgo and eat somewhere around the hotel.

Down the street are filled with people. So maneuvering the stroller can be a bit tricky, go slow and sturdy.

They were glad that they found a nice Cha Chang Ting 茶餐厅 by luck. No doubt the food price is a little on the high side, but the taste is marvelous!

Mongkok is a beautiful place to go. There are so many gadgets around, but hubby have no time to see at them.

The moment they arrived on the street of Mongkok, the two girls start fighting for the stroller! Cait know how to enjoy sitting down while been pushed on the stroller, while Clar, who love to snatch, crying loudly on street for the stroller.

No one seem to bother when the kids are crying badly.

Luckily wifey know how to tackle Cait mentality, so the stroller end with Clar. Best yet, she insisted only her grand pa to push. Anyone who tried to take over will get to enjoy her screaming.

Ladies street and Fa Yuen street are one of the most popular are that most tourists should visit. It is like Singapore pasar malam, only that their stall are permanent. You will spot a lot of bags along the way. It is to your own risk and choice.

Cait is very happy that day, because she finally gotten her roller shoe! She had been asking for months!

The shoe selling in Singapore is so expensive that wifey find it is not worth at all. Luckily they gotten the heelly shoe in ladies street!

She can finally show off her new shoe. But she does not know how operate them well, end up she used the shoe to walk instead.

TST is not far from Mongkok, so they decided to walk all the way back down by foot.

Along the way, they will be passing by the temple street market, a place that wifey wanted to see.
The overall route is not so bad and long, partly because there are alot of things to see.

Cait dozed off.

3-3-2013 (64)

From the map, they seem to be lost because they badly wanted to go temple street market! It is actually down the road, where they were standing at.

3-3-2013 (66)

Ta-dah, market! It is so different from the other side - less crowds.

Hubby urged wifey to get the egg roll since they were there. Long Q, and quite a lot of famous celebrity had went there before!

3-3-2013 (72)

Since everyone had woke up early in the morning, everyone turn in earl.

On the way back to hotel, hubby and wifey set off to the same Cha Cang Ting where they patronise  in the morning. Mom love the beef meat there, and hubby wanted to get the hor fun again.

It is a must to try roast pigeon, char siew and chicken!

3-3-2013 (73)

After dinner, hubby urged the parents to go down for a walk. The cooling weather is fantastic, especially at night.

The parents were shocked and froze because of the cold wind when they set outside of the hotel. They took a stroll around the whole compound, and back to hotel for a good night sleep.

It is the type of experience the parents finally feel with it.
