Kusu Island trip
Cait had been very nice on Friday and Saturday. She did not fuss so much be it on boat and restaurant. Applause to that quietness from her. Partly is because that she managed to go out then staying at home!
Everyone, including hubby's sis, bro-in-law, aunts and cousin planned to go to Kusu Island on the eve of 9th Month because hubby is unable to make it next week due to his overseas training in Australia. They planned to move out by 9.30am to catch the boat at 11.00am at Marina South Pier.
One of the aunt is well-known for her 'gan-cheong' , reached the pier at 8.30am while the rest of the people were still at home. By 9.10am, everyone set off to the Pier and booked the ticket for 11.00am. As the time is still early, everyone head to cafe for a drink first.
As for that aunt, known as 2nd aunt, had already reached Kusu Island as she told everyone there's no chair to sit there and wait for them. It was pretty late when everyone reach Kusu Island, around 12.15pm. To think that 2nd aunt had wait since 9am!
Due to off peak period time, Island Cruise will not departure from Singapore to Kusu directly. Instead, it will stop by St John Island first.
Every year during this period of the month, Singaporean and Malaysian will head up to Kusu Island for praying. Hubby had follow dad since young and it became like a routine.
Not just them, there are people also heading there to pray as well. Guessed that everyone want to avoid the long waiting time for ferry. The best time to go will be 3pm onwards as lesser people seem and there's no need to wait for a long time for the ferry. One can wait up till an hour or so!

Seriously speaking, it it damn tired to walk up to Datuk temple non stop with Cait! Back and leg aching! A good form of exercise but leg went jelly at the top. Thanks to the people there giving him a seat to sit down for resting.
Before running up... here with niece...
Hubby almost cannot breathe when he reached the top. This is due to lack of exercise and with the weight of Cait, it is even tiring! Look like hubby is ready for the training next week!
Going down is not easy as well. Leg feel like jelly have to be extra careful due to the small tiny steps.
Why is Cait so happy about?

What a tiring day. When everyone was about to leave the island, wifey mentioned that everyone should hop in the boat and get the best seat!
This is kinda funny when no one else seem to see 2nd aunt around (again)!
When everyone each the pier, 2nd aunt had already board the boat! Asked the person in charge, he assured everyone that this is the extra boat as there are quite a lot of people on the island still. Checking on the ticket, next boat arrival is 2.15pm and timing shown on watch is 2.00pm only.
Sad to say, 2nd aunt is bound to travel alone to and fro Kusu Island and Singapore. She could have waited for everyone and board the boat together.
What a funny and exciting day it is.
Last year during this period of time, wifey went to Kusu Island and kept vomitting and feeling so sick due to her pregnancy. Now, she is full of energictic!
