How to stop the blood bleeding non stop from the tongue?

The cheerful Clar had always been a clumsy one. Not only she easily fall down while walking, she always get cuts as well - as such, she is an accident prone.

It started with a nice cooling morning when Cait and Clar woke up earlier than before and prepare to go to school.

Wifey was down with severe cold after hubby. Thanks goodness she recovered 95% that day.

Knowing that their mummy fallen sick and bedridden for one whole day, the day before, the kids are sensible as not to disturb wifey. How sweet.

But sweetness ends when wifey received a phone call from the school reporting that Clar had accidentally bite her tongue during lunch time, and she had been bleeding for the past 2 hrs and it seem hard to stop the bleeding.

Wifey requested the teacher to put the lavender oil on Clar mouth, as that will help to stop the bleeding. But as to respect the school policy, the teachers are not authorize to put anything inside the student mouth.

So they went to school immediately and bring her home instead.

After examine thoroughly, they suspect that Clar bite her tongue too hardly that might caused part of the flesh to peel off.

To think that she stand firmly and tolerate the pain she was having - very brave girl indeed.

In order to stop the blood from bleeding continuously, wifey will use YL EO (Young Living Essential Oil), which is Lavender oil.


 You be surprised the usefulness from this oil.

No doubt the smell from lavender is nice, the taste can prove you otherwise. Clar was crying non stop when wifey had 1 drop of lavender oil and copaiba each onto the injury area and applied pressure on it for 30sec.

Clar has high threshold of pain because she did not complain anything about the pain on tongue.

She is a tough girl indeed.



After applying lavender oil, Clar felt calm and fell asleep soundly while the blood clot was formed.

Hubby thought the blood was still flowing as he saw the long stream of saliva almost land onto the pillow. After examined by wifey, she confirmed that the blood had stopped and it is healing right now.





Stopping of blood and healing up took less than 2hrs when wifey had applied the YL oil on Clar. They were surprised by its effect, and was glad that Clar is alright now.

Perhaps she could be too 'heaty' or really bite too fast and hard, which resulted her biting her tongue accidentally.

Nevertheless, wifey is a very quick witted person who know which oil to use for applying on any affected area.

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui .
