Happy Goat Year!

Happy Chinese New Year to everyone.

Everyone will be receiving the Master Goat in few hour times.

Those who are not in luck yet, The Ongies hope you will be soon, them as well.

May everyone huat, and smooth throughout the year.


Both Cait and Clar enjoyed their trip to Chinatown recently and they were so anticipating  toward CNY celebration.

It is not about receiving ang bao, but the goodies where they can munch non stop.

Despite that, it is very important for all parents to keep in mind that kids must drink plently of plain water. This is to prevent them from falling sick.

Clar had heaty body because of her food intake recently, that result having nose bleed.

Everyone had 'cleared' from the 'virus' in the house lately - just in time for CNY goodies. (Terrific)


May all kids get more ang bao, and adults catching up with other relatives as well. Networking! =)

It is a perfect long weekend for everyone!

p.s. To prevent from falling asleep or being busy, hubby decided to post this blog before the hour strike! Hehe..

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi .
