Partner in crime - Honey Star

This seem to be a very interesting moment/ conversation with Cait when hubby drove her home yesterday.

Clar is not feeling well, so she have to stay at home - at least to prevent the HFMD (Hand Food Mouth Disease)

 Both of them were in car when Cait took her favorite honey star box out from her bag and start munching it.

Reaching at the red light, hubby's hand went to her honey star box and took a few of it, starting munching together with her.

She stared blankly:"Eh.. daddy... why you take my honey star huh?"

"Because I like to eat it." said hubby with guilt.

"Really huh? Okai, then you take a bit from mine." Cait said it happily with open heart.

"Thanks girl, I shall take one time only because daddy like it a lot. Better to control my diet."

"Ok daddy."

And she keep on enjoying her favourite snack.

"Girl, don't eat so many of those, it is nearly dinner time. Later you will not be able to take your dinner."

Then hubby again, took a bit from her box and eat it.

"Daddy....I thought you say you don't want? Why you still take mine?"

"hm... I cannot resist it? That's why...." said hubby.

"No problem daddy.... Come.. I give you a bit..." with a curious and cheeky look when she said it.

"No no no... Daddy must control... "

"come daddy.... just take it....."

"okai, girl... thanks... I have enough..."

"Come daddy... give you 2 more stars.."

"Oh no girl...daddy about to driving..."

"Quick... take it..."

And the both of them were munching happily with honey stars in their mouth, with no music turning on in the car, just that crushing sound from their mouth together and they started to laugh at each other when they realised that the whole box of honey star is empty already! 

"It looked as if it is partner in crime munching the honey star together. And not wanting others to know about it ..." thought hubby.

Hubby took this opportunity to have a close bonding time with Cait.

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi .
