Cheaper option to get your Blackvue

Ever since hubby old in car dvvr had been down, he did not purchase it until reently.

He purchased the same old brand - Blackvue by Pittasoft.

Knowing the cons, due to it's heat issue, he did preferred this brand because of its high quality video footage.

Hubby had the old model, DR400, exchanged twice, but both still give a bad vignetting result. So he decided to drop one model down - DR380, with the advise from the seller.

With the help from his friend, he decided to strip the entire casing, leaving it bare totally. It works well until the day when washing car, someone had accidentally broke the chip board. (found with a thread attached)

Anyway, leaving it with no in car DVR on road can be risky. So hubby decided to purchased it again, but not locally.

Since he had the power cable and power magic pro installed previously, he can save on the installation charges.

Anyway, you still have to pay for the installation for the entire set, it is not expensive at all.

Without further waiting, hubby had all the things installed.

Confirmation:
Firmware and program are all in English.
Audio talk back from DR500 is also in English.

Checking of DR500 using wifi (range is very limited, works fine in the car) is fast and a lot easier. You can check the device lens is working well using this method.





Click the Live and you get the viewing from the DR500.

It is very simple and easy.

Should you worry for the heat issue, you can always take out the casing, so far it works for DR380 and DR400 (hubby's friend dvr).



Usage after a month

So far, after using for a month, everything is still fine. Having the holes on the casing literally works, at least no hot air been trapped in there. But do take note if you are parking under the hot sun, it is advisable for you to check the video using your hand phone.

All setting for the camera can be adjust using your phone too, so there's no need for you to bring back and forth the memory card.

So far... PASSED with a flying color!

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui .
