Staycation in MBS!
Family bonding time is very important - either you can go on holiday, or a staycation in hotel over the weekend. At least you do not require to pack up everything and go on the airplane.
This time, The Ongies set on MBS (Marina Bay Sands) for a staycation over the weekend. A great family bonding time without their grandparents around.
The kids were extremely happy, excited and kept jumping on the bed when they first entered the room. Meanwhile, there's NDP preview on Saturday, they will get to enjoy the fireworks too.
Both hubby and wifey had been to the town very often, so getting the food for the kids are not difficult at all. They just need to be extra careful because of the human traffic along Marina area.

Just in time to watch some preview and waiting for the fireworks at MBS. The girls were afraid of the sound, but the beautiful fireworks literally win them over and they kept asking for more.
This is the first time they were so close to the fireworks, watching it in the sky.

It is late night and they decided to bring the kids back to the hotel for shower and make them sleep. Clar prefer to sleep in between hubby and wifey, while Cait prefer to sleep alone on separated bed. She is brave to sleep alone for the whole night. It seem like she started to enjoy having her own bed instead.
It is morning, Cait woke up, drew open the curtain and kept saying: It's morning everybody!
The look into the sky from the room is very beautiful. Cait really love looking at it.
Before heading out for breakfast, they went to the skypark to look at the beautiful infinity pool, and yes, it is beautiful and the view from the top is marvelous. Kudos to the architect, builders and everyone involved in this massive project.

Breakfast at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf before going for a good swim at Infinity Pool.
Knowing they are going for a swim, the kids quickly finish up their meal because they have only 45min to stay in the pool.
Clar, who is very scare of the pool literally pop into the pool and have a lot of fun! As usual for Cait, she jump and splash the water non stop. She was so happy that she did not know what she is doing.
She even requested to go to the adult pool despite the pool is quite deep.
This worth every penny, having stay in the marvelous hotel, enjoying the infinity pool, the majestic view from the top into Singapore city.
Great time last faster as usual. They need to check out the room by 11.40am, so they had to faster head down to the room by 11am.
The Ongies must be very lucky, they get to enjoy the beautiful blue sky and the sun is not too harsh as well! All the clouds in the sky resemble marshmallow as if you want to eat them up. Cait even requested to come here every week.... right.....
