Brunch and kids hairdo

On the unusual Saturday trip after sending the kid's grandma to work.

Cait:"I want to eat pizza", "I do not want anything, PIZZA!"
Clar:"ppiizzzzzaa..."
Hubby:"Alright... where to then..? I am not sure where else... and what... "
Wifey:"Hm..... let's hit to Raffles City... Skinny Pizza... I know of that one, and it taste really good!"

And so, the decision is made and they traveled to Raffles City for pizza session!

It is unusual for Cait to say that she want a western breakfast food. In order not to let her down, wifey decided on Skinny Pizza because it is healthier!


No doubt the pizza is healthy and delicious, but it does not satisfy hubby tummy well! Yah, he is a big eater and a meat lover too. Luckily they ordered the fish and chips too.

The girls enjoyed themselves with the western breakfast, which they seldom have it. A good try, indeed.


Before the girls going for their bathe and a deep nap time, wifey took off their hair clips and bands, wow... the girls look pretty with the curly hair!

When the kids went to bed, it is couple time for internet streaming drama.
A great cake from Rich and Good Swiss Roll with a nice coffee beats the day.

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi .
