Cheeky Clar in the car.



Cait was pointing to this battery operated animal roller when she saw it; she kept insisting she wanted to sit on it!

Well, since she requested, wifey gave her a chance to sit on it. But again, she is showing her whining expression when she was told to sit alone. Hubby told her that he will be beside her no matter what... till he gave up and sat behind her on this animal.

He was hoping that the machine will not die suddenly because of hubby weight.

So, Cait feel very happy and safe when hubby sat behind her for few mins. Suddenly, Clar wanted to sit on it too.
But she rejected after putting her on his thigh.

After few mins had passed before the session end, Cait finally let Clar sit behind her, and that last only 1min. Nice timing indeed.

Hubby was trying out his new wide angle lense, so he decided to take a test shot image. While messing around, and wanted to capture Clar, suddenly she had her oily finger wipe on the lense!

Do notice that all images below had an oil smudge on the off center to the right.

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi . Cait and Clar will get bless as well, same goes to rest of the family. The usual place they often went is at Paya Lebar, Gu Cai Ba Temple (Sheng Hong Gong).
