SOO Babies Prom at Esplande

When can you step into the concert hall with kids, making a lot noise, and moving around the seats?

There you go!
The one and only specially tailored for the kids - 10th SSO Babies Prom!

All thanks to this event sponsored by Lim and Tan securities, the kids enjoyed the beautiful music played by the SSO members.They are great musician; Cait and Clar really enjoyed through out except for the toilet break.

On the other hand, Cait was happily holding to the balloon.



Cait had always been interested in violin, so this event will enhance her knowledge towards string instrument. In fact, that is making Cait even more excited - sitting quietly and enjoying.

 Everyone is hoping to come for the 11th SSO babies proms.

This is the first time Ongies stepped in Esplanade Concert Hall, everything is so grand and the beautiful sounding as well.

After this snap shot, everyone sat down quietly enjoying the show by SSO. No more video and photography allowed, this is to prevent people blocking the view who are behind them.

The SSO members introduce instruments like, percussion, strings, trumpet and wind.

They also show everyone about the starting of orchestra  - the principal and the conductor. Interesting huh?




After the concert, they head off to Marina Square for  a lunch; luckily the rain was not heavy, so they have time to walk opposite from Esplanade.

This is the first time seeing C&C playing with Xander and Xoan; not really playing but, close.

Clar seem very tired since morning, while Cait was still full of energetic. Whenever there's a trip or outing, she will not sleep during noon time - quite bad for her to follow.

While at Marina Square, they head down to the atrium and found that there's an event! While Clar was with mummy walking around, Cait and hubby went around enjoying the feel. So, Cait ask hubby that she do not mind taking pic, and there she goes - posing .

The beautiful balls with a big red bench as allow everyone to sit down and take photos.

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless.
