Wifey also bought Cait a puzzle game - putting color beads on the plastic plate. Underneath of the plate, there will be colored paper, all you need to do is to ensure the plate fit well onto the shape of the diagram. This will indicate you where and what color to place.

As hubby got to work on Friday, he had to forgo going to esplanade with the kids! Wifey had bought the Magic Jungle tickets for the kids to enjoy the play. Luckily mom was able to make it with them and they really had fun together, despite being scared by the animals during the play.

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi .
