It is a blessing when your kid go to sleep because it is the time for everyone to get their battery charge up.
Either that, or having their own me time.

For those who do not know, due to Cait cough and fever, she had been told to stay at home for a week before she can return to school.

Thanks to teacher Azizah whom called up and check up on Cait during noon time. Both hubby and Cait are unable to inform the school in the morning because it is always busy at home.
For that, hubby at the same time also fall sick. Bad cough and fever! Could Cait virus passed to him too? Now, wifey also gotten cough too.

This week is indeed a resting period.

Let's hope Cait is looking forward to school on Monday! She did implied that she wanted to go to school too!

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi .
