Trip to Funan

Last Saturday, hubby was extremely happy to step in Funan mall! Although there's nothing to buy, he still feel contented especially walking around Challenger store.

They were in town because of buying the Myanmar translation book due to the arrival of maid on Sunday.

As they were window shopping in Funan after Peninsula Plaza, they saw a puppet show going on.
Cait was only interested for 10min or so, then they decided to move on because she is feeling tired.

Dad was not working on Saturday noon, so he is pleased that he get a chance to do some window shopping with them. It is lucky that he was there to help carry Cait too!

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi .
