Hubby's Birthday Part 2

It is the official Birthday for hubby and they are out shopping around in Suntec. It is time to look for food after hubby had returned the camera's items to his friend.

They were hungry but had no idea what to eat. Therefore, they stopped by Fei Cui, and had their meal in there. 20% discount for all dimsum  from 3pm-5pm. The food is great and marvelous except for the horfun they ordered.

Cait had been quite obedient in the restaurant and turn a little fussy till they were done. Cait is not the only one been making noise because there are another couple's baby did the same thing.

There are quite a lot of toys that hubby wanted to buy for Cait, but it seem like she is not interested at all. Fearing that most of the toys will turn white elephant. When hubby pass the Lego to her, she seem more interested because it is fun building and stacking. But it is not ,when she attempted to use the lego brick and scratch you!


While at home, wifey is preparing something cute. By having the donuts as birthday cake instead!

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi . Cait and Clar will get bless as well, same goes to rest of the family. The usual place they often went is at Paya Lebar, Gu Cai Ba Temple (Sheng Hong Gong).
