Trip to Genting
The Ongies enjoyed the entire trip up to Genting last weekend!
Relatives of Ongies were so happy that it finally come true as the elder people were hoping this for a long time! Granny also went up to Genting with all of them too.
WTS bus driver was very kind by helping them since day one in the morning.
As there are kids, toddler and elderly, wifey booked the CEO Platinum Cruiser from WTS by adding extra $20 per pax. Luckily, on that morning, the coach is for them only! Total pax is 18.
Since it is just their family alone, everything is fast and easier for the tour guide and the bus driver. Hubby and the rest helped to organise the people so no time is wasted. If the Ongies and the family were to share with other people in the coach, it will not be as smooth as they thought. It is a blessing that they gotten the 18 seaters instead of 24.

Coach arrival time is 0615am.
Everyone is very excited for this trip.
Luckily Cait is in good mood and cooperative enough to get up so early in the morning. She must be wondering why she got to wake up so early and head up when the sky is still dark.

6hr ride in coach and they finally reach Genting Highland!
As the check in time is 2pm, all of them head up to Hou Mei restaurant for their lunch first while waiting for queue number.

Everyone was feeling cold and brought extra clothing up to Genting except for hubby. He was so happy to feel the cold wind as if he is in Australia again. The wind is terrific and most importantly is = not-so-humid!

Time for pop-pop and firecracker time. Hubby forgotten to take a pic of the box. Pop-pop was legal in Singapore back time and you can buy it from anywhere during Chinese New Year period.
It look like the shape of tadpole wrapped with a thin paper.
All you need to do is to throw the pop-pop onto the floor and it will blast it right away. It is not advisable to throw at anyone as it might result serious injury or burnt on skin.
Another is the firecracker.
It look like a strip of tablets on a piece of paper. 6 pink color tablets per paper.
All you need to do is to light up the stick with fire, place it onto the tablet and wait for it burst into flame. You might have to try hard by pressing it down in order to let it burst.
Hubby's cousin passed him a cigarette to light up the tablet since the stick is nowhere be found. After placing it there for 5min, there's no action until hubby decided to step onto the ciggie extinguish it! Jumping up with surprise and shocked when it burst into flame.
Fun and exciting tho.

Night time is boring as theme park is close. The only happy hour is the live band arena whereby you can smoke, drink and listen to music. Hubby, wifey and cousin in law went there on the 2nd night when they have no activities after finding out that the bowling alley is full house.

On the 2nd day in Genting
One of the worst breakfast they ever had is Hainan restaurant.
Service is bad as well as the food.
Since aunts and granny wanted to take their time going down for breakfast, Ongies went ahead to the restaurant and join the rest of the family members.
Bringing Cait along can be tiring as not all timing are favorable to them. Indeed, they have a lot of fun throughout.
As granny and aunts decided to go on their own with the help of another cousin, Korkor, the Ongies can go ahead and enjoy the day out especially at theme park.
Hubby purchased 4 theme park tickets and brought dad and mom in.
The first ride they took is antique car. As it is holiday season, long queue is inevitable.

As Cait pooed, they decided to return back to hotel room and get her change before returning back to theme park. At the same time, it is Cait meal too!

Mom was wondering why is there so many people carrying the bear out from theme park until they locate the stall.
Wifey and hubby had their chance by winning a bear for Cait.
1st Game: this is pretty easy for wifey. Just hook up any rubber duck from the pond. If there's a number shown below, you win the respective the price according to the number.
2nd Game: challenging for hubby. Toss the coin onto the plate and you win a bear! There are 3 level of height for the plates. The nearest to you is the lowest and the furthest, the highest. By luck and chance, hubby got his coin onto the middle one and won a big white bear for Cait!

As Cait is getting tired, mom and dad wanted to bring her back to sleep and urge both wifey and hubby have a great day out in theme park since they had paid already.
The first thing hubby tried is the flying chair! It look terrifying but the feeling is good. After 2 turns, the adrenalin rush of yours will soon get use to it.
Flying chair is fun. The adrenalin rush come when you can from the top and swing down. This is terrific.

Wifey and hubby had to meet up with the rest to take the cable car ride which is free for them by WTS. But the line up is extremely long which might take up an hr.

Down from the Genting to the bottom! Quite fun!
When they hopped in the cable car, straight ahead you see the cable car in front of you heading out of the tower look like it is dropping off! It look so dangerous and yet interesting as it is one of the longest cable car ever made. Heading down seem so creepy because of the high height from the ground!
While heading up back to Genting, hubby niece said something shocking to them.
What if the cable car stop or drop? Isn't it cool and exciting?
Such sentences should be prevent as much as possible. Or maybe the adults think too much comparing to kids?
Suddenly, while on the way up to Genting Highland cable car tower, the entire cable car system stop! Not once but twice! When it stopped, the moving backward is giving hubby a cold sweat. Looking down, you see trees under you and it is very deep in. But to cure away your fright, look at the sky and mountain in front of you. It is beautiful and stress free.
Everyone in the cable car kept quiet except hubby niece. They only start to joke when they feel the solid ground below their feet. as they joked.
Applaud to this mega structure. This is when the cable car stopped.
Beautiful mountains ahead. Try not to think so much.

The food here for Char Kway Teow is very nice
After they left Genting and heading down, it took about 10min ride down before they reach a place for selling all the local delights.
Before reaching the check point, they get off at Yong Peng for dinner which had been pre ordered while in the coach. Some of them also ordered Muar yummy otak as well.

Luckily this coach consist the Ongies family member only. By the time they reach Lot One, it is only 6pm plus. Everyone head home happily and it is a good trip to remember of.
