Another weekend is here and time to go OUT!

Busy weekend for hubby and wifey.
Morning, they went for breakfast followed by visiting of granny at home as she had her foot injured recently. Granny is so happy to see Cait as she somehow bring fun and laughter each time granny see her.

As hubby wanted to go PC Show at Suntec, wifey and him along with Cait quickly moved to the destination ASAP. They walked for 2hrs plus before they decided to head out as hubby is getting more and more poisoned.

The best place to rest at: Gloria Jeans.

Hubby love the relax moment with a cup of coffee and cheese cake while Cait having her lunch. Music is nice to him because it is dance genre. It had been a long time since both him and wifey had such a moment together. Cait of course like it as well!

Hubby's boss 60th Birthday celebration cum house-warming

They need to rest at home before heading out again to Mount Sinai lane, where hubby's boss house is located at. He is having his 60th birthday celebration cum house warming.

He is happy that Cait is slowly getting used to new environment and started to play around with his colls. They love her too! She is sweet, right?

Whenever Cait passed by an altar, she will grab her hand together and pray! Hubby, wifey and mom will be looking where the altar is when she did that. Does that mean the deity 'calling' her? She do know what is altar and know how to respect it by praying.

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi . Cait and Clar will get bless as well, same goes to rest of the family. The usual place they often went is at Paya Lebar, Gu Cai Ba Temple (Sheng Hong Gong). You can go and pray after registering yourself; pray to the main altar, then to the 60 Tai Sui before queuing up for the toaist priest to chant. It will be a long queue if you go early or noon.
