Wifey 2nd year being a mom

This is the 2nd time that wifey is enjoying being a mother. It was so different last year as Cait is still a lil baby whereas now.... Rather hard to explain! But to them, it is fun and laughter with lots of tiredness.
Hubby had no idea what to give wifey a present for Mother's Day.

He end up came home with a surprise after a short quarrel in the early part of the day.
Guess that he didn't buy anything for mom tho. He is saving up to buy something for her later on.

He went to Icing room to buy this cake from Jurong Point after a trip to Hello shop. He didn't personalise the cake as time is running out.

So, what is the present that he bought for wifey? Guess....

Yes, hubby bought wifey a 3Gs iPhone! Naturally, wifey is loving the phone each and everyday. When Cait grow up, she can use the phone for entertainment, but now... quite hard. She might either throw or drop it on the floor. Isn't that bad?

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi .
