A Big THANKS!
First and foremost, Hubby & Wifey would like to extend their apologies to those who attended Cait's 1st Birthday Party for being a "bad" host. It was too chaotic as there were many guest hence they could not interact more with their guests as they wished, and thanks to all for your understanding!
Hubby was a little disappointed that he did not have time to take photos. He was really glad and appreciative that one of Wifey's fellow mummy friend's hubby helped out and captured many moments of the party that is important. At least Cait will have some memory of her first birthday in future. Thanks to Jameson! For Hubby, he thinks that for such an important event, it is best to engage a photographer, or rather, to find a friends that loves photography to help out with capturing the moment as being a host, you will not have the time at all!
Sorry that some guests missed the BBQ as there was a slight passing shower hence they kept the BBQ pit aside and stopped for a while. And at the same time, they had to start the cake cutting too. Hence, there was 1 big ice box full of satay, otah and chicken wings left at the side totally forgotten until the end of the party! Lucky some guests managed to enjoy the otah, stingray and sotong! Yummy.. And again, it may also be better to engage a person to BBQ the food, so there will continuously be food supplied and you do not have to rely on friend or relatives to bbq, and being the host, you will not have the time again.
Hubby and Wifey were quite lucky to get a corner unit for the chalet, and it was near to the carpark and back gate, hence there was ample space for guests to sit, stand or mingle around.
Another regret was, Hubby and Wifey were quite busy and forgot to hand out some goodies prepared for the guests. Once again, apologies if you did not receive the goodies.
Wifey and Hubby put in alot of effort to make the party Pooh themed, hence if you notice, many items were Pooh related in the goodie bags such as the pen/pencil, notebook, sharpener, stickers, hand sanitiser, fans, towels, the pooh shaped cookies, pooh shaped agar agar, and the pooh themed balloons, party decorations and finally the delicious cake! Many guests were raving about the delicious cake and Agar Agar. The cake was from Patty (from Pat's Pastry ) and the agar agar and pooh cookies from Aunt Yochana
