Daddy's off to Australia for a month!!

Today Wifey, Cait, Ye-Ye and Bro-in-law sent Hubby to T3 of the airport. Hubby will be gone for a month to serve the country and at the same time, have an all expense paid trip to Queensland.. Pity Hubby said its a very "ulu" place and there's nothing to buy there! If not, could have gotten alot of nice pressies for friends/relatives and interesting toys/clothings for Cait.

So WIfey is trying to blog today (usually its Hubby blogging) and its so complicating for her to transfer pics from camera to computer, backup, upload to flickr, then add descriptions, then blog! And this is already a short cut cos wifey does not know how to process the pictures and upload using flock as "instructed" by hubby. :P

Silly wifey took the camera to the airport and when taking pictures the camera does not turn on! The battery was left at home charging! So hubby used his camera to take and he'll upload on his end in Australia.

Wifey only managed to capture some pic at home when cait was napping. She's so tired that she slept from 3-6pm and wifey had to turn off the fan in order to rouse her from her lala-land for evening bath-time.

Oh ya! About 2 weeks back wifey purchased a diaper bag online from Annie of Good Bargains, very efficient and nice seller that Wifey purchased a wallet from perviously. She packs the bags very nicely, comes in dustbag/box and sent promptly from US to her via fedex and she'll promptly send out via courier to buyers.

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi .
