6 months later at Baby Fair!

Yes, if you remembered (or maybe not), hubby and wifey went to Taka baby fair and bought lots of stuff for Cait. And this time, they are back again to the same old place but to their disappointment, there's nothing to buy at all.

Just to be frank, it is not there's nothing to buy but because they do not know what to buy! Most of the stuff had been purchased way before and basically it is suitable for mummies-to-be. Hope everyone bought the stuff that they want!

While looking at the items, one of the mummy approached wifey about her purchase of the strawberry carrier. Hope that mummy found the forum link.

She does attract quite a number of people anywhere. 1 of the auntie suggested wifey to put a hat on Cait head because the aircon is quite strong in Taka. Luckily, she did not fuss at all... simply because... she is tired and dozing off...

After the walk at baby fair, hubby and wifey went to shop around Taka SC. It is Cait feeding time soon, so they quickly locate the baby room. Luckily they saw it when they pass by to toy section. (Hubby wanted to see his tomica toy cars....)

At Taka Baby Changing Room... the whole is crowded with mummies and babies! One of the mummies had to breast feed openly, but of course covering with a cloth tho.

After feeding Cait, finally there's empty *lot* for Cait to change her diapers. At the same time, most of the babies and mummies had left.

Been disturbing enough, hubby placed Cait there and take a snap! LOL

Off to Orchard Central


Since hubby parked his car somewhere near OC, that will be the last stop after Taka. It is a sunny hot afternoon and it had been a long time both of them actually step into Orchard Road. Well, this is the first time with Cait.

Cait simply cannot stand the hot sun, so she got to wear the hat all the way from Taka to OC.

That's the end of the trip yesterday. She had fun walking around with mummy the whole day until she had nightmare!

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi .
