When hubby and wifey brought Cait out for jogging/strolling, there are a lot of cyclists, rollerbladers, joggers, walkers kept commenting her been SO CUTE! when they saw her.

After all, they are the only couple along the jogging/cycling pavement with baby stroller! Cait enjoy a lot until the moment they made a U-turn going back home from Yew Tee side. Cait insisted on been carried as she kept on fussing!

As hubby is full of sweat, wifey got to carry Cait instead. Poor wifey.  

She smiled and made a lot of noise while carrying her. When they got home, they found out why she fuss! Cait POOed!

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi . Cait and Clar will get bless as well, same goes to rest of the family. The usual place they often went is at Paya Lebar, Gu Cai Ba Temple (Sheng Hong Gong). You can go and pray after registering yourself; pray to the main altar, then to the 60 Tai Sui before queuing up for the toaist priest to chant. It will be a long queue if you go early or noon.
