Last day of confinement

Finally! The last day of confinement arrive and of course, she is so happy and going to clean up nicely!

For baby Cait, she been so fussy until everyone know about her pattern. Just like when feeding her and at the same time she cry, it could due to the heat, and now, change of diapers! She will stop crying after the change of diapers, because it is clean, dry and comfy for her! She just cannot stand some dirt on her golden butt! Look like hubby will go broke very fast as she is so fussy on her diaper!

Often after the change, due to her urine, she will poo on the new one. How clever she can be, right?

Whenever everyone started to have their dinner, she will make noise and gain attention! After a while when hubby, wifey and mom were eating, someone came to the door for delivery of flowers and gift! After few min of guessing, mom finally knew who sent it! It was her friend, who own a jewellery shop at Tiong Bahru Plaza, and apparently, my mom always go there and buy gold from them. Thank you so much.

Just take a look at how fussy she is when they did a trial on her by putting the pants! She felt hot and love windy tho, and also, she do not enjoy been wrap up!

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi . Cait and Clar will get bless as well, same goes to rest of the family. The usual place they often went is at Paya Lebar, Gu Cai Ba Temple (Sheng Hong Gong). You can go and pray after registering yourself; pray to the main altar, then to the 60 Tai Sui before queuing up for the toaist priest to chant. It will be a long queue if you go early or noon.
