Interesting things to share share!

Wifey experienced weird crampy sensations today. It started aound 2.15pm after she had lunch and by 2.30pm it was still painful so she called Hubby to tell him about it. They continued to monitor and Wifey also seeked the advice of other mummies on the forum, and decided to observe the pain.

The pain finally subsided at about 7.30pm and Wifey was quite relieved to finally be able to take a short break from the cramps. Wifey got a bit worried and wondered about the actual contractions and labour!

Wifey was surfing online and came across this blog and the socks look so cute! It's selling for $10.50 for 3 pairs, and upon further surfing, Wifey found the same items selling for $8/3 pairs! Even better bargain from a seller on SMH :)

Also, Wifey found some teething toys and other cute items.

Also, congrats to Marie from SMH who is gonna pop tomorrow morning! So excited for her, and here's wishing Mummy and Baby Xander a smooth delivery!

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi . Cait and Clar will get bless as well, same goes to rest of the family. The usual place they often went is at Paya Lebar, Gu Cai Ba Temple (Sheng Hong Gong).
