Eventful day

Lately Wifey's tummy has ballooned alot! Although some aunties and neighbour keep commenting that the tummy is very small for 7 months, Wifey is not really worried and is actually quite happy as Caitlyne is a healthy weight of 1050gm and Dr Adrian says its of average weight and size. Good enuf for Wifey and having a smaller tummy is better cos Wifey is not carrying so much extra weight too. hee

Today poor hubby is suffering from bad backache due to carrying alot of heavy shopping such as wine for the confinement, baby Caitlyne's heavy cupboard and so on so he's on MC to rest. But alot of errands were ran today from morning Hubby and Wifey went to clinic at 830am and had to wait for 1hr 30min for Hubby's turn, so they proceeded to breakfast and met Hubby's mum to go supermarket to buy Black Vinegar to be used for the pig trotters or sth during confinement period. Then Hubby went back to clinic to see Doc and get MC and they proceeded home. One hour later they're out again to run more errands and collect some stuff Wifey bought from singaporemotherhood online bulk purchases.

Then at 1pm Hubby accompanied Wifey for her first waxing session done at a person's home next to Bukit Panjang Plaza. It was from friends recommendations and also online research that Wifey decided it'll be more hygenic to be "hairless" during the labour and also post delivery where the lochia will be extremely heavy flow. Usually the hospital will shave you when proceeding to delivery suite, but according to some, the hair regrowth is prickly and itchy, and cause alot of discomfort with the painful stitches. Being "botak" also prevent germs n infections and also less ordour. Wifey was afraid to try waxing for the 1st time near due date in case of any problems, that's why Wifey made appt for now, (week 28) and she'll go again Week 37 before Caitlyne is born. The experience was very good and thumbs up for the home-based therapist who made it very professional and minimise the pain level, also the rates were cheaper than shops based services.

Next at 2pm Wifey, Hubby and Hubby's Mom went to an infant care near their home to take a look at the facilities. They have decided to send Caitlyne to infant care after she's 3months old and when Wifey returns to work. Everyone in the family is working on Mon and Tues so Caitlyne will have to be there for 2 days a week. It costs $450 and luckily with MCYS and some Govt Working Mum Childcare Subsidy, the fees will only be about $280. Its still a big sum to pay but luckily its not the original fee!

Here are some random photos Hubby took:
