As for today, wifey is feeling a lot better as she can eat food from KFC! Not too much that she ate, just a Zinger burger! At least hubby felt that she began to have better appetite.

Mom was talking about lady who come to your house and take care of wifey and baby during the 1 month period, the cost might fetch 1.6 - 1.8k. If hubby mom can do it properly, it will be good. Having a good lady to take care is hard to find, because they might not cook properly. For instance, if the alcohol substance is not totally gone while cooking with food, it will result the wife to get rashes. Funniest was, mom told hubby and wifey that there's one lady who asked one of the aunt if she would like to have curry! It is a NO-NO!

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless.
