Merry Christmas to everyone! It is going to be a busy day with the family. Cait had her present opened yesterday as she was excited for her new game - Monopoly Empire ! ( She chose this game herself and insisted that she want this Empire ) Clar will open her's tomorrow. ( Seem to forogtten what is her present ) This is definitely a game that hubby also been wanted to play with the kids. A simple board game will teach the kids how to use the money to buy and pay for things. During the game play, Cait had the most earned and get emotional when she does not have any money left because she been buying billboard. She also know how to make use grab action and exchanged for a bigger billboard when she threw the dice. They have no idea whether Cait really understand the game, but she is pretty smart on making use of every opportunity. It is wonderful to have bread and waffle making session. The Ongies had purchased a Kenwood breadmaker at $119 from Robinson Black Friday sales last Friday. With the $20 voucher given by the Robinson staff in the morning, they eventually bought the breadmaker at only S$99! (Purchase any items from $50 and get that special discount off) Totally worth it. However, there are confusion when queuing up to pay for the items, it is either the staff is new or  there are people cut queue to pay first. Hubby hoped that there are a proper queue line with security guard around and, with their system update to the latest information. The Ongies had spent 15min to get their pricing correct, because the transaction charged them the original price before discount. Hence, the manager had to be called in to void the transaction. Taking the cane, shove at the kids as warning is not working anymore. They know, by heart, that parents will not cane them. This time, Cait and Clar were wrong when they tested hubby's patience. The first stroke down is a pre warning, it will followed by the 2nd time which is slightly harder than before. It is not easy for them to forget that moment when they realised the pain is not a joke, neither they knew that hubby is not acting at all. He know what to do when come to disciplinary this time. When the kids are getting out of control, such action is unavoidable. Screaming, shouting and slamming here and there will only result the kids to follow them. Hence, hubby ensured everyone must watch what they say and the cause of action; this also include the grandparents too. The Ongies had no regret bringing the girls to The Rink recently, despite umpteen times of begging and requesting for ice skating! Since the opening of J Cube, Caitlyne had always been wanted to go ice skating, even though she did not know how. The plan to bring them there kept on delaying again and again, fearing that they will make a fuss in the rink and wonder if they have the boot size for them - apparently, The Ongies is wrong to think that way. So, wifey intend to bring them to iceskate for their brithday treats. With a stroke of luck, hubby noticed from his mobile notification from Groupon - great discount to The Rink! Pricing is only $10 for an adult and $8 for child, usual price is $17.50 and $15.50 respectively. The Ongies will be very excited to go for another iLight 2015 if they are going to organise it again. Wifey had been wanted to visit this installation. And that very night they went, is the final Saturday night before the whole event comes to an end. In conjunction, there was Earth Hour celebration happening at the floating platform. The kids were so excited seeing the lights especially The Pool installation. Since the installation were placed all over, the best parking area will be at Marina Bay Link Mall, which is $4 for the first 3hrs. It was a long walk from MBLM all the way to floating platform and back. During the time, there's an hour lights off to celebrate Earth Hour. Growing up Time is so hard to keep up with. Now Caitlyne has just turned 5, in a year time plus, she will be entering another stage of life - Primary School. As a parents, they will soon feel the pressure. She is still enjoying her childhood happily. Hubby and wifey started to put on a little pressure on her - learning phase. The never ending testing patience limit from Caitlyne is not a joke. She seem to develop the rebellious attitude earlier than others. Her mentality and way of talking seem to change recently, it could be for the better good. Celebration Every year, Caitlyne get to celebrate her birthday in school. Parents and kids, have you ever attended or having birthday celebration in Mac ? It seem fun because there are so many things to eat and play. If hubby can remember correctly, there seem to have an indoor playground before. The kids these days are so fortunate. They get to gain the experience of birthday celebration in Mac.
