We are The Ongies

Happy Chinese New Year to everyone. Everyone will be receiving the Master Goat in few hour times. Those who are not in luck yet, The Ongies hope you will be soon, them as well. May everyone huat, and smooth throughout the year. Both Cait and Clar enjoyed their trip to Chinatown recently and they were so anticipating  toward CNY celebration. It is not about receiving ang bao, but the goodies where they can munch non stop. Despite that, it is very important for all parents to keep in mind that kids must drink plently of plain water. This is to prevent them from falling sick. Clar had heaty body because of her food intake recently, that result having nose bleed. Everyone had 'cleared' from the 'virus' in the house lately - just in time for CNY goodies. ( Terrific ) May all kids get more ang bao, and adults catching up with other relatives as well. The Ongies had no regret bringing the girls to The Rink recently, despite umpteen times of begging and requesting for ice skating! Since the opening of J Cube, Caitlyne had always been wanted to go ice skating, even though she did not know how. The plan to bring them there kept on delaying again and again, fearing that they will make a fuss in the rink and wonder if they have the boot size for them - apparently, The Ongies is wrong to think that way. So, wifey intend to bring them to iceskate for their brithday treats. With a stroke of luck, hubby noticed from his mobile notification from Groupon - great discount to The Rink! Pricing is only $10 for an adult and $8 for child, usual price is $17.50 and $15.50 respectively. Knowing that the kids will want to go to the Rink for the 2nd times, therefore hubby had bought an additional ticket for everyone! It is indeed a great offer not to be missed! The Ongies will be very excited to go for another iLight 2015 if they are going to organise it again. Wifey had been wanted to visit this installation. And that very night they went, is the final Saturday night before the whole event comes to an end. In conjunction, there was Earth Hour celebration happening at the floating platform. The kids were so excited seeing the lights especially The Pool installation. Since the installation were placed all over, the best parking area will be at Marina Bay Link Mall, which is $4 for the first 3hrs. It was a long walk from MBLM all the way to floating platform and back. During the time, there's an hour lights off to celebrate Earth Hour. Growing up Time is so hard to keep up with. Now Caitlyne has just turned 5, in a year time plus, she will be entering another stage of life - Primary School. As a parents, they will soon feel the pressure. She is still enjoying her childhood happily. Hubby and wifey started to put on a little pressure on her - learning phase. The never ending testing patience limit from Caitlyne is not a joke. She seem to develop the rebellious attitude earlier than others. Her mentality and way of talking seem to change recently, it could be for the better good. Celebration Every year, Caitlyne get to celebrate her birthday in school. Therefore, without doubts, they approach Patty from Pat n Pastry again! Cait requested something special this year -  a princess castle cake! Since then, wifey had been busy looking high and low for the cake design over internet. Parents and kids, have you ever attended or having birthday celebration in Mac ? It seem fun because there are so many things to eat and play. If hubby can remember correctly, there seem to have an indoor playground before. The kids these days are so fortunate. They get to gain the experience of birthday celebration in Mac. There will be game activities, followed by cake cutting, fries, nuggets and drinks! So.... Off to the birthday celebration at Macdonald , Limbang SC! And the birthday boy/ girl goes to.... EVERYONE ! The K1 and K2 Cait, is obviously very happy because her birthday is around the corner! After missing school for 3 days due to high fever, Cait is so glad to join this party with her friends! They wanted to get this Air Fryer by Philips for the longest time ever. Fearing of space and the cost are one of the factor that set them back. Good grief, the wait is over and the patience paid off! Hubby had been seeing lots of bloggers talking about the review, so over here, he is not going to be another reviewer, but the way of getting the product a lot cheaper. It is no secret at all. Wifey was talking to her friend on the new air fryer; she happened to go to Qoo10 and take a look at it. Saw that the deal is too good to be true and almost wanted to get it, but fearing that there will be someone at home to object it. Hubby supported her decision and the next day, she was surprised to find that Qoo10 is giving out early bird discount for opnly 50 qty! Everyone will be opening their wide arm to receive 2014 and bid good bye to 2013. It had been a wonderful year - be it the changes, the shockening or the sadness. The Ongies would like to take this opportunity to say a big thanks for those who had frequent to this blog and read about what is going on for the two lovely Cait and Clar. Promise that this blog will keep on going (if time allows) Wifey had been working very hard throughout the year, and hope the effort is recognised for the better good. While hubby, turned part time house husband and self employed, will be striving hard to build up his career - photo, audio and video. (any inquiries, please drop an email) For Cait and Clar, both had been promoted, will be studying even harder, especially for Cait. She will be more hands on - reading and writing, because K1 is the stage that she need to learn a lot, and as a parent, require to focus on her work as well. How about you?

Having clueless when sending Cait to school, he was astonished that Cait had been promoted to K1! Cait turned and face him:"I told you last week already, you don't know ah!!!" Well, nothing to be shameful about because he really do not know what was going on last week, and he did not hear anything from Cait at all. Nevertheless, this show that Cait had grown up a lot. Her mentality is very matured than others, thus her understanding level is very high. It is not easy to trick her at all. Because of this, it will means: harder to discipline her. Having promoted to K1, this will let Cait to focus more on studying, learning and reading. Let's enjoy the last of 2013 first. It is good to see that Cait love to go to library and read the books, hence the borrowing of 11 books.
