We are The Ongies

The weekend was hilarious. Both girls seem to have taken some sorta hyper medicine. They were noisy and been very playful all day round. Doctor Visit Before weekend, hubby had to bring Clar to see doctor at ProHealth clinic at Bukit Panjang due to her cough. As the heavy vehicle carpark is right behind the clinic, hubby had to take a risk by parking there - hoping there's no summon. Cait had to follow as well because she said she was coughing too . Handling both of them is not easy, but glad that they are cooperative throughout the waiting time. Much as hubby disallow them to sit on the kiddy ride initially, he had to give in because it is impossible to look at both of them. There's no seat to sit down and there are too many people walking around in the morning. Luckily, hubby had the coins, and that means... alright then.. kiddy ride time. Where to go this weekend? Absolutely no idea at all, the Chinese New Year stall at Chinatown is not up yet even. So, after sending grandma to work, the kids will have their brunch in the coffee shop. Cait requested for Ban Mian because she really love it so much. Cait had grown up, even though she can feed on her own, she still want people to feed her and being treat like a little baby. For Clar, she wanted to do it by herself, but no one can trust her because she will make a mess around her eating zone, even pick up food from table to eat! So, they end up at Takashimaya eventually. It is not easy to walk around with the kids if you intend to buy anything in the shopping center. You need to be very careful, looking where they are while shopping. They might even unknowingly push down the entire utensils some where. Play safe is better than something happens. It had been a tiring weeks, days, hours and min since the last blog post. But everything had been paid off - Cait is willing to take the neublizer, but need to stop because there's shortage of medicine. The both girls had been doing very fine, just that Clar getting to know understand her food bud. She is willing to take in any food in the past, but not now. She began to be choosy and can be very whiny. When she is unable to get the things she wanted, she will make the hell outta noise and making sure everyone gives in. Remember this, her screaming is not that soft at all; that literally irritate everyone off. As the result, the mood is getting more and more tense. Perhaps, Clar require more discipline; Cait wasn't like her before. In a few weeks time, Clar will be put in the school, but in different class from Cait. Last Friday, the school brought the toddler and playgroup to Waterfront Park, Woodlands for picnic session! The kids, as well as the teachers, are very excited and happy. It seem that they are finally taking an off to the playground and play! Once they were there, everyone have to sit on the mat, started their biscuit before heading to the playground and play. This is not a good week for all since last weekend. Saturday Wifey was down with flu, fever and cold; thus hubby had to alone battle against the kids. He lost terribly and became a bad mood monster because he simply find it so hard to press down Cait to sleep. In the end, she won by disturbing Clar nap and, for the straight 5 hrs hubby went on without a rest until night falls. Sunday It was evening time and hubby brought Cait out for a walk at Lot One. Instead of driving up, he decided to go via public with her - LRT. Cait had been a good girl to and fro Lot One and home. She did not make any nuisance noise in the LRT, but kept asking him some weird question/ or rather interrogating . Why never hold the bar with 2 hand?   Dad dad sit down. Go where? This is MRT. Other than that, she had been good. To make the trip worth, hubby brought her from top floor to basement area - he just want to want and enjoy. The feeling for Cait towards to school had changed. She told wifey that she does not want to attend school almost everyday. When being asked the reason why, she did not replied until wifey asked which teacher she does not like at all. According to Cait, she said that she did not like one of the teacher in the school because the teacher was either too strict or beat her before. As a parent, they need to investigate what is going on first, why and how the teacher beat; or was it just play. At times, when the teachers was playing with the kids, they will thought that they had been reprimanded or being punished. This had happened once with her favourite teacher before. Another thing, Cait had not been eating well in school. Even how hard her favourite teacher wanted to feed Cait, she will not give in at all. This is one of the concern that both hubby and wifey were worrying of. They also found out from Cait that she does not like to have other ingredient on her rice! Which she pref...

Every night Clar tuck in soundly and she is able to sleep on her own through the whole night, without feeling any fear. Recently, it seem that Clar is getting more and more insecure. She will make sure that any of her body part must be connected to wifey. E.g. her feet or palm must be  touching her mom, despite in the awkward position. 1-2 weeks back, she preferred to sleep facing down on wifey chest, so that she feel the security around her. She will start to cry if been put down on bed, even though it is just beside. Having cuddling is no use as well.  Just like last night, she will wake up every hour because she did not feel secure. One day, when hubby entered the room while talking to Clar, who is lying on the bed looking at the ceiling, she startled and trembled for a while until getting rest assured of it. It is never easy to bring up the kids, especially when they are growing up from infant stage. From the stage of baby to toddler language, they will begin to express their thoughts and want their way if possible. It is nice to see that they begin to understand lots of things, but that also means that they are going to be very naughty because of their curiosity. This is the stage that hubby and wifey are quite fearful; Cait is very picky on food and kept on expressing her on thoughts. She do talk a lot, but required lots of understanding. Only hubby and wifey will be able to understand. While Cait can be very sweet by sharing her seat with hubby, taking care of others and being considerate, but she can be rude at times. She might not even know it is rude at times when the principal noticed that from Cait recently. Cait took things from others by snatching away .
