Rest in peace, Mr Lee Kuan Yew

It is a grey day for nation wide today.

Dear founding father of Singapore, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, had passed on this morning.

Cait and Clar, being young, may not know who he is. Hence hubby told them, he is a very important person who build Singapore.

Again they asked, what is build.

Patiently replied.

Let's take the idea as lego. You have a plain flat piece, and you want to build something up. It can be anything, so long as it is sturdy and useful.

Hubby also told them. Without Mr Lee Kuan Yew, we will not be living in a comfortable house where everyone call it home.

He is a visionary.

Knowing how to get talent to build up Singapore together as one. The old guards are worth the respect.

Hubby and wifey was sadden to hear about the grieving news. But they believed, he is now able to meet his wife in the other world.

So much of hardwork he had done for the nation, he also gotten a lot of negative remarks under his rule, which is inevitable.

No one is satisfied at all.

You have to stay strong to be a respected leader so that people will be fearful of you.

Despite being small, Singapore is known to the world, having its own defense force and great economy sector. Let's all be fair, it is not easy to govern a country especially when it is nothing in the first place. 

May he rest in peace, the founding father of Singapore. A man whom everyone will be remembered forever and highly respected.

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui .
