Trip to Zoo
Once again, they are back to Zoo trip again. It is wonderful to go out with friends, especially when the kids have their own companion at the same age.
It was only 0930hrs when they arrived at Zoo and their friend had told the rest that the boat ride (River Safari) for them is at 1500hrs. (despite being early, you can see the overwhelming response for this ride! When they went from Zoo to River Safari at 12 noon, all tickets were sold out!)
It is school holiday, thus the crowds explained. Many parents make full use of this holiday to bring the kids out to see animals, enjoy the sunlight, and also the wonderful waterplay in Zoo.
Water play in Zoo is one of the most attracted area most of the kids, they will have a lot of fun in the water, splashing each others and coming down on slides.
As they are now 4 years old, it is a lot easier for them to understand what animal they are looking at, or rather, which animal they wanted to see. Although Clar is not 4 years old, she tend to pick up things quicker now as she is literally 'copying' her sister, Cait.
In the whole of Zoo and River Safari, the most enjoyed area are polar bear and panda bear! Why is this so?
It is very simple: Cooling aircon!
Polar bear area had been renovated and it look a lot nicer than before. It is fully air conditioned and there are some other animals to see as well. To enjoy the atmosphere, you really have to make a trip down yourself.
Look at how the igloo was made, and apparently, it is as if the kids playground area.
and... a photo shoot time for the girls and Jin Feng.
River Safari - the latest and newest opened recently beside the Zoo. Everywhere is cleaner and neater.
It is sheltered all the way and it have only one walking path till the end. Even if it rain, you do not need to be worry at all. However, hubby felt that River Safari seem a little like RWS, SEA Aquarium - all related to water, though the species may differ.
It is nice to take a stroll if you are not in a hurry, but with the kids getting tired, hungry and hot... it is never the same again. Of course, as mentioned earlier, one of the coolest place to visit is the Pandan area! Another air conditioned area!
You will be able to see some other animals other than Jia jia and Kai kai.
One of them, Jia jia, is very shy and always hidden in the room way up enjoying the bamboo. You just gotta look up, not the field on ground.
Familiar? Nah. This is not at RWS, Sea Aquarium, this is IN River Safari, much smaller but very comfortable too. Upon walking up, you be able to see the top of this majestic aquarium! But, please do stay safe.
It was 1435hr when they wanted to take the boat ride, but due to height limit and tiredness from the kids, all of them decided to skip and head home instead. By the time the girls are home, they crashed almost immediately - hot sunny weather and running up and down at the water play literally made their body exhausted.
Till the next trip...! Perhaps Jurong Bird Park!
