Chinese New Year celebration
Yesterday, My First Skool, is celebrating Lunar Chinese New Year, hence red/pink dressing is their dress code. Both girls are very excited with their new look to the school.
Cait even insisted buying the chocolate from market to share! No doubt she was excited about sharing the chocolate, the actual agenda is she wanted to eat it too! Smart
In the morning when hubby and wifey went out to buy some food to keep during CNY, most of the stall will be close until later date, they saw quite a number of kids, regardless any race, were wearing Chinese clothing or cheongsam for CNY celebration in school. Impressive!
In order to let the kids to have the feel of the Chinese New Year, they decided to buy a lot of accessories to decorate in the house. This also will bring some good luck to the house, the people and the career too.
When hubby was about teenager, he used to find these decoration so obiang, but now, it is like a wonderful things to hang - so the kids will understand.
To date, hubby still prefer to listen to the traditional CNY song, unlike those funky newly composed type.
Don't you think it interesting? When everyone was young, they used to hate CNY, but when they are older, they began to appreciate a lot, especially those who are married with kids. No matter what, all celebration is a must to let the kids participate. It is the memory that they should remember forever.
The girls enjoyed their celebration in school, as claimed by Cait. She was very happy giving away the chocolate in the class; she even took some back as there are a lot of leftover. But Cait can only take back a handful of it, hence the rest will be given to the other class, or the teachers.
