Out with granny
As mom had to go hospital for her medical review, both hubby and wifey took leave together and head up to NUH with her. Luckily the wait is not that long so they can fetch granny and 2nd aunt to Chinatown.
Granny had not been out of house and been to town for months. So she is pretty excited over it! It is really lucky that hubby and wifey tag along with them because the route is not simple for them to push granny's wheel chair and Cait's stroller. Much to say that it is also not easy to push granny and Cait along the way as aunt and mom are not strong at all.
Big aunt met the rest at Red Star restaurant for dim sum morning breakfast.
It had been a long time since they last went to Red Star. For hubby, that's his 2nd time only as he can still vividly remember that he went for the first time when he is still very young. For wifey, that's her first time. Of course, granny is the only one who felt very excited more than anyone else.
Since granny wanted to go for shopping, aunt, wifey and I took a day leave to accompany them.
Before the shopping trip, off to Red Star for dim sum session

Hubby have this craving since years ago. Finally this delicious horfun appear right before him! Though the look and guo tai look different than before, but the taste is still the same!

It is never easy to bring 1 elderly and baby together, especially in wheelchair and stroller

Since everyone is tired, Cait will be positioning herself under her Great Granny care

Then, came in 2nd Great Aunt
It is also not easy to go to OG from People Park because there's no ramp to get into OG from 2nd floor. So, the only choice is to make granny climb up the stair case. Initially, hubby wanted wifey to look after the stroller while he carry the wheelchair up, then the stroller until one nice uncle offer his help to carry the wheelchair with wifey. Hubby is at the back carrying the stroller filled with all the shopping bags which granny bought for her son.
The whole scene is quite chaotic because there's only one small part that is passable for people walking up and down the area. It is quite disappointed that no youngster actually offer help at that time. So, people who is reading this blog, do help out if you can. It is not easy after all.
All in all, granny love shopping until everyone spent nearly 4hrs shopping that area alone. Of course, before sending granny home, they went to cafe for a short break and relax. That's the first time that Cait and granny spend the longest time together. Though Cait is extremely tired, she still do not want to sleep at all until she is home.
Though it is not easy, but at least granny and aunts are very happy bringing her out for shopping. She kept apologizing to hubby because it had been tough for him to travel up and down, carry this and that. So long everyone is happy, it worth it. Luckily he stay put to help instead of going elsewhere to run some errand.
