Thunder and lightning scared Cait

Cait woke up at 12mn for her feed and it was about to rain soon. Hubby and wifey were about to go and sleep and quickly prepare her milk. Just when she was drinking, lightning struck and the flash is really bright!

Hubby almost pat her as to calm her down but it was too late. As the thunder was way too loud, Cait got a shock and started crying non stop! It was the first time she got scared so far. That thunder roar made mom and dad woke up from their sleep. Luckily Cait is brave enough, she calmed down about 5min later and continue her drink.

Hubby did not really sleep well because each time he saw the lightning, he will rushed to the room and hold on to Cait palm. Luckily the thunder was not as loud as the first time. So hubby was able to sleep well later on.


As for today, Cait had been fussing non stop. She slept 3 times in total but the duration is just 20min. She woke up at 6am until now, but hubby was wondering why she does not want to sleep longer.

When dad saw Cait trying to 'mmm', he asked hubby if Cait poo! Ok.. wonderful smell from her butt when hubby opened up the diaper.

Even after cleaning her up, changed the diaper, she still does not want to sleep. She just want to play! Hubby and dad are so tired now....

Mom's boss bought a box of tibits for Cait! Well, wrong choice. This will certainly goes into wifey tummy!

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi . Cait and Clar will get bless as well, same goes to rest of the family. The usual place they often went is at Paya Lebar, Gu Cai Ba Temple (Sheng Hong Gong).
