Parental Craft Lesson #2

The lesson learn today is incredibly interesting though hubby almost fallen asleep. Most importantly is all about breathing technique and pain relief during labour. Mrs Wong is very patient and seriously, she almost made everyone want to fall asleep when she is talking about the relaxation. Such as, controlling your mind to think of something relaxing, calm and  very nature.

Massage technique was also taught during the lesson. A pity that one of the couple was unable to finish the whole lesson due to some sudden bleeding from the wife, thus they need to quicken their pace to hospital for checkup. Bless them.

Hubby also need to put in effort during wifey labour period like massaging her back and been cheer leader. There's also technique to massage wifey back as not to hurt hubby wrist which might go up to hours? Much understanding of how the labour will go through was also explained clearly from Mrs Wong too. As she need to attend some talk next Saturday, she might be late for hubby and wifey lesson, but it will be taken over by the staff nurse.

After the lesson, hubby and wifey went to relative house for sweet one year old baby birthday party. They also gotten MORE stuff for the lil one, including like pillows, baby cot , mattress and some little accessories. Photos will be upload soon.

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi . Cait and Clar will get bless as well, same goes to rest of the family. The usual place they often went is at Paya Lebar, Gu Cai Ba Temple (Sheng Hong Gong).
