Wifey had been very busy at home even though she is suppose to rest. There's little rest after all because hubby had to go back to work. Things like checking up the PD working hours, baby bonus, thinking of her name, attend to baby when she cries: wash things, bathing, poo poo and sterilizing.

The most challenging to wifey is pumping of milk and that led to milking cow! She felt pain as nipple went very sore which cause slight bleeding, but she have to endure these and pump every 4 hours to ensure the supply. Now is still pathetic at 50ml for both side of breasts but she will continue to work hard. Got to thanks to Marie, Fabbie and Kris for giving the wonderful advise regarding to breast feeding. Isn't that so educational and wonderful to have support.

Wifey do feel a little emotional cause of tiredness and frustration she had when pumping. She has not slept through the night after been home as she have to wake up every 2 hours to check on Cait cait and then back to pumping. She tried not to disturb hubby as he got to work the next day, so MIL is helping too.

Of course, both hubby and wifey is happy to receive the Thank You card from Singapore Cord Blood Bank.

hey veron! congrats! caitlyn looks like a very healthy girl!! just something to share with daddy n mummy, for newborns, try not to put them in the car seat for too long, as much as possible, the car seat should be flat, even for the pram. coz babies' backs are still developing and they can't sit upright as this will put strain on their back, which will lead to future back problems. so for at least 9-12 months, they should be lying on their backs as much as possible so that there won't be unnecessary stress on their back. this info was shared by my cousin, she's due anytime soon and this info is based on studies done in the UK. hope it helps! Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi .
